This year we spent the 4th of July up in Idaho. We started with the parade in the morning....this was more for the kids, I am not a big fan of parades (I know....party pooper). You've seen one tractor, you've seen them all, right? :) We grabbed a pizza for lunch and then we headed to a hotel in Idaho Falls. Chad's mom had given us tickets for the dinner/fireworks show that they put on every year by the river. It is a really good firework show and definately an event for the town so it was nice to have VIP reserved seating for the show and not fight the crowds in the park! The kids and Chad went swimming in the pool for a bit then we got ready and headed to enjoy dinner and the show. Ethan cried for the first part of the fireworks because of the noise, but then he ended up liking them. That seems to be a reoccuring event in his life....he needs to toughen up a bit so he isn't teased when he grows up! :)
